Heartland Youth is the premier youth ministry in Omaha for students in grades 6–12 (ages 11–18).
We passionately equip and empower the next generation of Christian leaders, helping teens build a deep, lasting relationship with Jesus—at home, at school, and in every community they’re a part of.
Any given Sunday, you will walk into Church of the Heartland and experience our Core Values in action. These are not a set of aspirational goals but traits that we live by every single day.

Crews are small groups where real students engage in real life and real talk about faith, friendship, and identity. These dynamic gatherings help teens:
Build community through mentorship and peer support.
Grow in leadership through active involvement and spiritual guidance.
Deepen their faith in an environment of belonging and encouragement.

Matt and Jaslyn Reid lead with passion, vision, and a heart for the next generation. With years of experience serving students and mentoring young leaders, they are dedicated to creating a youth ministry that is both fun and deeply transformative. They want to see every student in Omaha—whether in middle school or high school—discover who they are in Christ.
As parents themselves, Matt and Jaslyn are committed to walking alongside families, supporting parents as the primary spiritual leaders of their home.
